Cronite's 5" x 9" hi-speed die stamping press system

CroniteA system which can produce engraved stationery at speeds up to 7,000 impressions per hour, smoothly and effortlessly on several sizes and thickness of paper stocks. Cronite is the principal manufacturer of equipment and supplies to the engraved stationery industry in the world. The 5" x 9" hi-speed die stamping Press, hi-speed Autofeed and telestacker Drier come together to form an integrated new system for producing engraved stationery which is far superior to any other equipment in use today. This system can produce over 3 times as many impressions per 8 hour day than conventional hand feeding.

Cronite 5" x 9" press system

Cronite's die stamping Press has been engineered to handle most every type of job. Dies can be used up to a maximum size of 5" x 9", and the stock fed can be as thick as 3 ply card stock or as thin as airmail. Stock can be fed automatically from 3½" x 4" up to a maximum size of 11" x 14" (or with a special order large Autofeed sheets up to 15" x 15").

The specially engineered pressure system of the press smoothly generates much more pressure than older presses, so you can now do plain embossing and burnishing, as well as die stamping, without giving up speed, efficiency or quality.
The hi-speed 8000 Autofeed is also responsible for monitoring the system's operation. Should a problem arise during operation, the feeder detects it, informs the operator where it is, and "trips" the system to prevent damage. All automatically. The feeder is designed to require a shorter set-up time than hand feeding; so it is just as handy to use on short runs as it is on long ones in most cases.
